I've managed strategic communications, social media, digital content, and scheduling for political candidates, public policy organizations, advocacy groups, and nonprofit organizations helping teams communicate effectively, stay organized, and reach the audiences that matter most.
Beyond appearing as a guest on television, radio, and for different outlets, I have helped shape national conversations by securing local and national media placements for colleagues and clients.
Through media outreach, messaging, and relationship-building, my work has resulted in interviews and coverage in outlets including Fox News Radio, Salem Media Group, LiveNOW from Fox, Deseret News, The Salt Lake Tribune, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Todd Starnes Show, Real America's Voice, The Washington Examiner, Townhall Media, DC Insider, The Center Square, USA Today, podcasts, and numerous local news outlets.
Kim for Utah (2019-2020): I was Deputy Communications Manager for former Utah state Rep. Kim Coleman when she ran for Congress. Due to COVID-19,, a lot of her campaign outreach was done online.
I oversaw a team of volunteers that handled press releases, media outreach, graphic design, virtual town hall meetings on Zoom, Facebook, and Youtube. I also oversaw volunteers for graphic design.
I helped lead her to victory during the Utah GOP Convention while living in Washington, D.C.
Whether through news coverage, social media strategy, or coordinating schedules for appearances, and events, I bring together thoughtful planning and audience-focused communications /outreach that gets results.
Independent Women (Network): I was the Content Coordinator during IWN’s startup phase. IWN is a project of Independent Women’s Forum and indent Women’s Voice.
I managed the website, handled production of podcasts and live events, editing the work of ambassadors and contributors, hosted a legislative update series, and worked with the graphic design team to create consistent branding.
I was also the national anthem singer at an event in front of the U.S. Capitol, where my video clips were shared in various national and local D.C. news outlets.
I’m not afraid to responsibly utilize new technology to streamline research, editing, and content development while creating original content in Canva, Adobe Products (Premiere Pro & Photoshop), and CapCut.
National School Choice Awareness Foundation (CONTRACT): I wrote and pitched op-eds to state and local news outlets all over the country during the organization celebrated 15 years of National School Choice Week.
I have also been a guest speaker and TV/radio show guest (not representing NSCAF) during National School Choice Week around the country.
Mike Kennedy for Utah (2024): During the election primary season, I was the Scheduling and Calendar Manager for now U.S. Rep. Mike Kennedy.
I brought Rep. Kennedy to victory by ensuring visibility through appearances at events and festivals, parades, interviews, town hall meetings, and donor and supporter meetings.
I also tracked social media mentions and media mentions.
Students for Life of America/Students for Life Action (CONTRACT): I secured hundreds of earned media placements for staff, students, and advocates through strategic media outreach and communications campaigns, elevating the visibility of advocacy initiatives, legislative priorities, and community events across national and local media.
These include quickly identifying and securing sources on-site or coordinating interviews in advance.
I also pioneered new content formats that transformed news releases, interviews, and stories into engaging digital content expanding reach and driving greater visibility across platforms.
International Children’s Choir: From 2014 to when the choir ceased operations in 2020 (due to COVID-19), I managed the social media, video editing, graphics, and media relations for the choir.
As a member of the choir until 2015 and the person behind its digital communications, I spent the final years of high school through college building its online presence through social media, video production, graphic design, and media outreach.
My work helped showcase the choir's performances and mission, first-hand looks at performances for foreign dignitaries, and preparations for concerts and high-profile events.
Young Adult/Student Communications Outreach: From 2017-2020 I led communications and outreach initiatives that engaged students and young adults through social media, grassroots campaigns, events, and community partnerships.
During legislative sessions, I organized a group of young adults and students to testify on vital legislation. While some bills passed and were signed immediately, other bills took several years and multiple digital media and outreach campaigns.
I also secured media interviews and coordinated press opportunities to ensure students and young adults were represented in coverage of major events.
