Hello, everyone!
I'm Frances Floresca, a communications professional, multimedia journalist, and freelance writer with experience spanning broadcast news, strategic communications, public affairs, and digital media.
Most recently, I worked as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor for ABC affiliate WJBF NewsChannel 6 in Augusta, Georgia, where I covered everything from local government and military communities to education, economic development, breaking news, and community stories. My reporting included live television, anchoring, enterprise reporting, digital storytelling, and multimedia production.
Prior to television news, I built a career in communications, media relations, public policy, and advocacy, working with nonprofit organizations, think tanks, and national media outlets. My writing has appeared in publications including the Deseret News, Washington Examiner, Townhall Media, The Lion (now The Heartlander), and local outlets.
I've also contributed commentary and analysis for national and local television, radio, podcasts, and online publications. I also have been invited to the White House, as well cited in a Congressional budget proposal, as well as other documents shared by the U.S. Department of Education, elected officials, and state governments.
Throughout my career, I've worked across Georgia, Nevada, Utah, Virginia, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C., developing experience in media relations, strategic communications, public affairs, content creation, social media, public speaking, and storytelling. Whether reporting on deadline or developing long-term communications strategies, I enjoy translating complex issues into stories that inform and connect with audiences.
Outside of journalism and media, I have a background in classical vocal performance, having performed in choirs, operas, musicals, and community events throughout the country. I also did pageantry under Miss USA (Miss Fort Eisenhower USA - Miss Georgia USA), Miss Mission USA (Miss Mission South Carolina USA), and Universe United Mrs. (Mrs. Georgia) and continue to enjoy opportunities that combine public speaking, community involvement, and communications.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Utah.
